A giant cave with stalaktits, stalagmites and subterranean rivers and canals. It was like entering in an Indiana Jones film.

San Cristobal de las Casas- Chiapas

Al llegar a este lugar encontramos muchos colores, muchos indigenas y mucha artesania. Los Zapatistas siempre estan presentes con su musica, poesia y cultura.
When we arrivied to this town we met with a lot of colours, many indidgenious people and a lot of handicrafts. The Zapatistas are always present with their music, poetry and culture.
Nar vi kom fran till denna stad mottes vi av manga farger, av lokalbefolkning och av hantverk. Zapatisterna ar alltid narvarande med sin musik, sin poesi och med sin kultur.

Playa Mazunte

Tambien aqui vivimos en una cabaña en la playa virgen de Mazunte. Un paraiso de tranquilidad!
Here we also lived in a little cottage right by the beach. This virgin beach is a real paradise if you want tranquility.
Pa denna paradisstrand bodde vi ocksa i en liten stuga alldeles vid havet. En verklig drom for alla som soker lugn och ro.

Playa Angelito

Fuimos en una lancha a nadar en el pacifico con delphines, tortugas y peces voladores. Despues estuvimos descansando entre las palmeras con una piña colada y haciendo el snorkel. El pescado y el marisco eran esquisitos.
We went with a small boat to swim in the Pacific Ocean with dolphines, turtles and flying fishes. Afterwards we relaxed by the palmtrees with a piña colada. We also snorkled and had excellent seafood.
Vi akte med en liten bat for att simma med delfiner, skoldpaddor och flygande fiskar i Stilla Havet. Efterat tog vid det lugnt med en varsin piña colada. Vi snorklade och at underbar fisk.

Puerto Escondido

Como el nombre dice, este es un lugar bien escondido entre montañas y mar. Es una playa preferida por surfistas por sus grandes olas. De la playa puedes ver una atardecer maravillosa.Vivimos en una cabaña rustica y bonita al lado del mar donde se escuchaba las olas.
This is a village hidden between the big mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The beach is a favourite among surfers because of the big waves. From the beach you can see the beutiful sunset.We lived in a cute cottage right by the sea where we could here the ocean by night!
Denna by ligger gomd mellan hoga berg och Stilla Havet. Det ar en favoritstrand for surfare pa grund av de stora vagorna. Fran stranden kan du se den vackra solnedgangen. Vi bodde i en liten stuga vid stranden dar vi kunde hora vagorna om natten.

La cascada seca, Hierve el agua

Aqui probamos los sabores autenticos de mole y mezcal. Vimos la cascada seca (muy especial) y nos bañamos en las lagunas de agua mineral en lo alto de las montañas.
Here we tryed the authentical mole and mezcal. We saw the dry, very special, waterfall and we swum in the lagoons with mineral water high up in the mountains.
Har provade vi den typiska molen och mezcalen. Vi sag edt torra vattnfallet(valdigt speciellt, och vi simmade i lagunerna med mineralvatten hogt uppe i bergen.

Teotitlan y Mitla

Monte Alban

Aqui estan plasmadas las culturas Zapoteca, Tolteca y Maya, en unas inpresionantes piramides en lo alto de la montaña con una vista panoramica de Oaxaca y mucha historia.
Here you find evidence from the Zapotec, Toltec and Mayan culture. This in impressive pyramides up in a high mountain with a panoramic view over Oaxaca and with a lot of history.
Har finner man spar av kulturerna Zapoteca, Tolteca och Maya. Detta i fantastiska pyramider uppe i ett hogt berg, med utsikt over hela Oaxaca, som gommer mycket historia.

Oaxaca

Tierra del mezcal, mole y chapulines, y la pizza oaxaqueña, tlayuda, es muy rica. Ciudad colonial con una iglesia de oro, un ritmo danzon, mucha fiesta y dialectos indigenas.
Earth of mezcal, mole and chapulines (dry insects that you eat). Their typical pizza Tlayuda is very good. A colonial city with a church of gold, a typical dance, a lot of party and many indigenous dialects.
Hemland for mezcal, mole och Chapulines(torkade insekter som man ater). Deras typiska pizza Tlayuda ar valdigt god. En kolonial stad med en kyrka av guld, manga rytmer, mycket fest och manga inhemska dialekter.

Catemaco

A 4 horas de Veracruz hay un pequeño pueblo con un gran lago en medio de la selva. En un paso de lancha descrubimos mitos, monos y magia. Aqui el schaman con plantas y barro nos dio una limpia.
4 hours from Veracruz you find a small village with a big lake in the middle of the djungle. We made a tour in a boat and here we saw myths, monkeys and magic. Here a schaman made us a spirtual cleaning with mud and plants.
4 timmar fran Veracruz finns en liten by vid en stor sjo i djungeln. Vi gjorde en battur dar vi sag myter, apor och magi. Har gav en schaman oss en spirituell rensning av kroppen.

Veracruz

La primera ciudad de America y puerta a Europa. Ciudad pescadora de un lindo rio con un acuario de los 3 mas importantes de Ameica, las ruinas Zempoala y gente espiritual y alegre.
The first city of America and port to Europe. A fishing town with a beautiful river with one of 3 most important aquarium in America, the ruins of Zempoala and spritual and happy people.
Den forsta staden i Amerika och porten till Europa. En fiskestad med en vacker flod med ett stort och vackert Akvarium, ruinerna Zempoala och ett sprituellt och glatt folk.

Tampico

Un pueblo petrolero en la costa del golfo de México, muy raro. En medio de la ciudad hay un lago con mas de 200 cocodrilos salvajes y libres sin protección, tortugas y peces que vuelan. Vimos la playa fantasma que despues de un viento norte había volado todo.
A very strange petrol village at the cost of the mexcan Gulf. In the middle of the town you find a lake with more than 200 hundred wild and free crocodiles! Without security! The lake is also full with turtles and flying fishes. We saw the beach that after a strong wind was almost destroyed.
En valdigt konstig oljeproducerande stad vid mexikanska golfen. I mitten av stan finns en sjo med over 200 vilda krokodiler! Utan skydd! I sjon finns ocksa skoldpaddor och flygande fiskar. Vi sag stranden som var helt ode efter att harda vindar nastan forstort allt.

Cascada de Tamul

La única forma de llegar a la gran cascada es en autostop. Gracias a Maria ubicamos a Ricardo que nos llevo navegando en su canoa junto a un grupo de mexicanos y franceses. Después de remar 2 horas a contra la corriente, pudimos ver la imponente cascada! También tuvimos la oportunidad de nadar en una laguna subterránea y disfrutar de unos tamales y los langostinos de río!
The only way to go to this impressive cascade is to hitch-hike. Thanks to Maria we found Ricardo that took us with in his canoe together with a group of mexican and french people. After having rowing for 2 hours finally we could see the cascade! We also had the oportunity to swim in an underground lagoon!
Det enda sattet att ta sig till detta underbara vattenfall ar genom att lifta. Tack vare Maria motte vi Ricardo som tog oss med i sin kanot, tillsammans med en grupp mexikaner och franoser. Efter 2timmars roende motstroms, sag vi antligen vattenfallet! Vi hade ocksa chansen att simma i en undervattenslagun!

Ciudad de Valles

Un pueblo que realmente esta entre valles, de extensa vegetación, hermosas vistas y ríos. Aquí vimos el baile de los muertos, una experiencia muy rara y pintoresco con muchas flores y altares.

This is a village that you find between all the valleys, very green with a beatiful landscape. Here we saw the "dance for the deads". A very different but interesting experience with flowers and altars for the dead.

En liten by som finns mellan dalar och berg, valdigt gront med vackra landskap. Har sag vi "de dodas dans". En valdigt annorlunda men intressant upplevelse med bade blommor och altare for de doda.

Real de 14

A mas de 2000 metros de altura se encuentra el pueblo mágico. Entre inmensas montañas y un camino muy difícil, después de cruzar el único túnel que une el pueblo con la civilización, aparece el desierto altiplano. Allí recorrimos con caballos, y un burro, junto con el guía Emiliano, un camino impresionante donde incluso los caballos tenían dificultad para llegar. Pero era fantástico!
With an altitud of 2000 metres over the see you find the magic village. Between high mountains and a very difficult way, after crossing the only tunel that unites the village with the civilisation, you find the desert. There we went with horses together with our guide Emiliano on a really difficult road, where even the horses had problems. But it was fantastic!
2000 meter over havet finner du den magiska byn. Mellan hoga berg och en valdigt svar terrang, efter att ha krossat den enda tunnel som enar byn med civilisationen, finns oknen. Har gick vi med hastar, och en asna, tillsammans med var guide Emiliano, en vag som var sa svar att till och med hastarna hade problem. Men det var helt otroligt vackert!

Gogorron

A una hora y media de San Luis de Potosi emerge una pequeña localidad de aguas termales. Aguas con una temperatura entre 30 y 40 C°. Aquí se puede relajar de verdad después de un día duro. Un sueño para mochileros!
One and a half hour from San Luis de Potosi you find a little village with termal water. This is water with a temperature between 30 and 40C°. Here you can really relax after a hard days work. A dream for backpackers!
En och en halv timme fran San Luis de Potosi finner man en liten by med termala vatten. Vatten med en temperatur mellan 30 och 40 grader. har kan man verkligen slappna av efter en hard dags arbete. En drom for alla som reser med tung packning!

San Luis de potosi

Una ciudad cordial, rica comida (desayuno y tacos!), buen hospedaje, centro historico colonial, centro minero y el inicio de la revolucion mexicana.
A very friendly city, good food (the breakfast and the tacos!), a nice hotel, a historic colonial centre, also a mine centre and the startingpoint of the mexican revolution.
En valdigt trevlig stad, god mat (frukosten och tacosen!), fint hotel, ett historiskt kolonialt centrum, ocksa centrum for minorna och startplatsen for den mexikanska revolutionen.
